At perceived offenses
At opinions that differ
At those we see as the other

A chance to have our say
To put down another
To question those who demur
To taunt with those who aver

New friends, we seek
But enemies we make
Our views, out we speak
But that of others' we do not take

With suspicion we view
Rejecting thoughts new
Hate injected in our sinews
We flex our muscles anew

Social medium has gone extreme
With no locks, and no keys
Hoping our words spread virally
Infecting others with hate and glee

Questioning is easy
Who cares for the true story
Cornering the perceived enemy
Beating him till we find glory.
